Exhibitions, book promotions, theater workshops, street performances, film program and the 13 th edition of the Forum for exploring theater art for children and youth.

The exhibition "70 Years of Duško Radović Little Theater" will be opened on Monday, September 19 at 11:30 a.m. in the Subotica’s Children's Theater, and will present the history of this important theater dedicated to the youngest audiences. On the same day, at 9:30 a.m., at the "Danilo Kiš" Foundation for Youth Culture and Creativity, the poster exhibition "Thinking by Letters" will be opened as well, with the works of the third year’s students at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Applied Graphics and Object Illustration, in the class of professor Rastko Ćirić.

The plan is to promote as many as six publications. On Tuesday, September 20, at 4 p.m., the 15 th and 16 th issues of the magazine for puppetry art "Niti", as well as the collection of works "Theatre for Children - an artistic Phenomenon" (book 12), will be presented at Hotel Patria. The following day, at the same place and time, will be presented the book "Little Theatre Duško Radović - 70 Years of Diversity (monograph 1949-2019)" edited by Marijana Petrović, as well as the book "On Actor with a Puppet" by the same author. On Thursday, September 22, at Hotel Patria at 4:00 p.m., the Festival presents publication "90 Years of Youth Theatre" and the book "Stevan Pešić - Selected Works".

Three workshops will be organized during the Festival. Organized by the Festival and Theater Museum of Vojvodina, from September 20 to 22, will be held three-day puppet therapy workshop "By Puppet to Peace - Puppetry in Therapy and Assessment". The workshop is led by Ossa Viklund, a long-time practitioner and educator in the field, from Gothenburg. The creative workshop "Merry Company" with Sofija Simić, scheduled for September 21, deals with the puppet as a prop and the theatrical mean of expression. During the last two days of the Festival, September 22 and 23, Branka Rudman, a puppeteer from Zagreb, will hold workshops, as an informal education for teachers, on puppet theater and the use of different types of puppets at school classes.

Performances out of competition and outdoor performances will be held from September 19 to 22 from 5 p.m. on the City Square. The program consists of dance groups, street entertainers, schools and kindergartens, as well as the international acting troupe Mr. Moon.

The film program will be held every day from September 19 to 23 at 11 a.m. at the Eurocinema in Subotica. Screenings of animated films "Dreambuilders" (September 19), "Maya the Bee 3: The Golden Orb" (September 20), "Monster Family 2" (September 21), "Dragon Rider" (September 22), as well as the feature film by Radivoj Andrić "How I Learned to Fly" (September 23).

We would like to remind you that the thirteenth edition of the Forum for Theater Art Research for Children and Youth will be held from September 19 to 22 at 7 pm at the Open University in Subotica. The leader of the Forum is Dr. Marijana Prpa Fink, and this year's theme of the Forum is "Interculturality in Theater For Children and Youth and Community Development."

As part of the competition program of the 29 th Subotica International Children's Theater Festival, there will be 14 plays for children from all over the world, selected by the festival's programmer, professor Dr. Zoran Đerić. The audience of the Festival will be able to watch diverse and imaginative plays coming to Serbia from Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary, France, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republika Srpska), Spain, Israel, Indonesia, Greece, as well as performances by Serbian theaters.

The realization of the Subotica International Children's Theater Festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, Provincial Secretariat for Culture of AP Vojvodina and the City of Subotica.
